MULANAY, Quezon - The Mulanay local government has unveiled its new public plaza stage design, which will host a variety of cultural events and performances as part of their efforts to promote and preserve the town's rich cultural heritage.
The stage is large enough to accommodate a wide range of performances, from traditional dances to live music concerts. It will be equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, ensuring an immersive experience for both performers and audience members.
The stage's strategic location at the Liwasang Alfaro Aguirre in the heart of Mulanay will allow easy access for locals and tourists alike, further enhancing the town's cultural scene and ensuring a memorable experience for both performers and audience members.
According to Mulanay Mayor Aries Aguirre, the old one was destroyed in May 2019 without a clear reason, and making the new one was necessary to address the needs of the community.
In a Facebook post, Aguirre shared the design of the stage that would rise in the area, showcasing a modern and functional structure that would accommodate various events and performances.
The new stage is expected to provide a better platform for cultural activities, community gatherings, and local celebrations, fostering a stronger sense of unity and pride among the residents of Mulanay.
The design came from architect Renz Tagle, who incorporated elements of local culture and history into the stage's design. This not only adds a unique touch to the structure but also allows residents to feel a deeper connection with it.
