TIAONG, Quezon - The 'Power Trio—Tatlo Para sa Nutrisyong Sigurado' program was launched on November 21, 2023 to provide nutrient-deficient newborn mommies and pregnant women with access to nutritious food, supplements, and regular check-ups to ensure the healthy development of their babies from various barangays in Tiaong town.
This initiative aims to provide comprehensive support and education on proper nutrition, ensuring the well-being of both mothers and their babies. Through this program, Tiaong town is taking proactive steps towards building a healthier community and promoting a brighter future for its residents.
There are 100 beneficiaries who will be provided with the Dietary Supplementation Program through the collaboration of the Provincial Government of Quezon and the Local Government Unit of Tiaong, as well as various health organizations and community stakeholders.
Tiaong Mayor Vincent Arjay Mea and the Tiaong Local Government Unit are committed to ensuring the success of this program and providing the necessary support to the beneficiaries. They have allocated a budget for the program and have partnered with nutrition experts to develop a comprehensive dietary plan for the beneficiaries.
Mea stated in his message that his administration's programs are focused on the health of his constituents and improving their overall well-being, and these programs include two units of Nutri-Bus filled with the nutri-products program of Sen. Imee Marcos and the newly renovated Rural Health Unit facilities equipped with modern medical equipment.
With Marcos Nutri-Bus and the upgraded Rural Health Unit facilities, Mayor Mea aims to address the nutritional needs of the citizens and provide accessible healthcare services. These initiatives reflect the administration's dedication to promoting a healthy and thriving community.
He also emphasized the importance of the Dietary Supplementation Program in addressing the nutritional needs of the beneficiaries, particularly those who are vulnerable and in need of assistance. The program aims to provide essential vitamins and minerals to individuals who may not have access to a balanced diet, ensuring their overall well-being.
Primary Health Care Facility License-To-Operate which is the first in the history of the Province of Quezon, and to organize the facilities to expand health services is Mea's Administation also working on improving the accessibility and quality of healthcare services in the province. This initiative will not only benefit the vulnerable population but also contribute to the overall development and well-being of the province.
