ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal - Two Rizal towns, Antipolo and Taytay, emerged as winners during the 49th Philippine Business Conference and Expo (PCB&E) of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), held from October 25 to 26 at the Manila Hotel.
Antipolo won the "Most Business-Friendly Component City" award, while Taytay won the "Most Business-Friendly LGU—Municipality Level 1" award. These recognitions highlight the efforts of both towns to create a conducive environment for business growth and development.
Mayor Jun Ynares of Antipolo City expressed his gratitude for the recognition and emphasized the city's commitment to continuously improve its business-friendly policies and programs.
He also mentioned that this award serves as an inspiration for Antipolo to attract more investments and provide better opportunities for its residents.
Taytay Mayor Joric Gacula expressed his pride in receiving the award and assured that the municipality will continue to support and promote entrepreneurship, as well as foster a favorable business climate in Taytay.
Meanwhile, PCCI lauded the government's initiatives to further improve the country's business environment.
PCCI emphasized the importance of continuous efforts in creating a business-friendly atmosphere, which will ultimately attract more local and foreign investments.
