BATANGAS CITY - Naging maayos at mapayapa ang observance ng Undas sa buong CALABARZON Region IV - A nitong nakalipas na Nobyembre 1-2, 2023.

Ayon kay Philippine National Police (PNP) Regional Director Brigadier General (PB Gen.) CARLITO M. GACES, walang napaulat na anumang kaguluhan sa ibat ibang lugar na nasasakupan ng CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal at Quezon), base na rin sa mga pahayag ng mga pulis at barangay tanod na nakadeploy sa mga strategic area.



“This is the assessment of the Philippine National Police based on the monitoring and keeping the safety of the people who trooped to the varions cemeteries regionwide to visit and pray for the soul of their loved ones” paliwanag ni Gaces.

“Our police force reported that there were very few reported petty incidents, but in over all assessment, and in general, UNDAS in CALABARZON was generally peaceful” dagdag na paliwanag pa ni PB Gen. Gaces.

Ang Nobyembre 1 ay all Saints Day at ang Nobyembre 2 naman ay All Souls Day. Sinabi rin ni Gaces na ang pulisya ay mananatiling naka-alerto o “in high alert status” hanggang sa Lunes, Nobyembre 6, 2023.
