TAYABAS CITY, Quezon - The individual was apprehended, but not for any violation on their part. Instead of a ticket, they were captured getting a Christmas gift. The unexpected turn of events left them both relieved and surprised.
As a Christmas surprise, traffic officers gave a lucky tricycle driver who they had stopped a package of rice and spaghetti. The Tayabas City Traffic Operations Section set up a surprise operation this morning, Tuesday, December 19, 2023, near the common terminal of tricycles in the public market, not to arrest traffic violators but to give gifts to those who are kind tricycle drivers with complete vehicle documents and a franchise.
