LUCENA CITY, Quezon - San Miguel Corporation (SMC) visits and gives hands-on training to marginalized communities in Quezon Province, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their businesses. This training not only focuses on product knowledge and sales techniques but also includes guidance on financial management and marketing strategies.

At least more or less 100 individuals from different offices of the provincial government attended the training sessions on December 7, 2023, at the Provincial Capitol, Lucena City, further expanding their knowledge and understanding of reselling practices. This has helped those who wish to start their own business or enhance their existing ones.

The training sessions have also fostered a sense of camaraderie among participants, as they were able to network and exchange ideas with like-minded individuals. The provincial government's support for providing such training opportunities also demonstrates their commitment to the economic growth and development of Quezon Province.

The resellers livelihood training is under SMC's Community Resellers Program and through this program, participants not only receive training but also gain access to resources and support from SMC, further enhancing their chances of success in their entrepreneurial endeavors.

Quezon Governor Angelina "Helen" Tan expressed her support for SMC's program and emphasized the importance of empowering local entrepreneurs to drive economic progress. She believes that by equipping individuals with the necessary skills and resources, they can contribute to the growth and development of Quezon Province.
