PAGBILAO, Quezon – AboitizPower subsidiary Therma Luzon Inc. (TLI) has launched 17 corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects focused on livelihood, education, health, and environmental protection in its host province of Quezon and Municipality of Pagbilao.
The projects were formalized through a memorandum of agreement (MoA) in the recent signing ceremony held at the National Brackish Water Fisheries Technology Center (BFAR-NBFTC) on . Partners included local government officials, community stakeholders, and representatives from the Armed Forces of the Philippines Health Service Command, Department of Education Quezon, and BFAR-NBFTC.

The diverse range of CSR projects encompasses various initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life in Quezon and Pagbilao. These include livelihood programs focused on sustainable aquaculture, such as raising soft shell crabs, bangus, seaweed, and kasagan, to provide local fishermen with additional income sources.
Educational initiatives will offer scholarships and learning resources to empower students and promote academic excellence. To enhance community health and well-being, the projects will improve access to healthcare services and promote healthy lifestyle choices. Additionally, environmental protection programs will focus on conserving natural resources and mitigating environmental risks to ensure a sustainable future for the region.
These programs are expected to have a significant impact on the community, supporting the aspirations of the people of Pagbilao and contributing to the sustainable development of the region.
