LUCBAN, Quezon – The Local Government of Lucban, under the leadership of Mayor Agustin "Tenten" Villaverde and Vice Mayor Arnel "KAKA" Abcede, in partnership with the Sangguniang Bayan, RHU Lucban, and the Sigla Center, successfully implemented the OPERATION: LIBRENG TULI 2-day program.

This free circumcision initiative provided safe and accessible circumcision services to boys between 11 and 14 years old . The program aimed to promote health and hygiene among young boys in the community.

"OPERATION: LIBRENG TULI" provided safe and accessible circumcision services to numerous boys, addressing both medical and cultural needs within the town. The program was met with enthusiasm from parents and community members who recognized the importance of this preventive health measure.

"This program is about more than just a medical procedure," said Mayor Villaverde. "It's about investing in the health and well-being of our young people, empowering them with knowledge, and building a stronger, healthier Lucban. We couldn't have achieved this without the invaluable collaboration of our healthcare partners and the support of our community."

The collaboration between the local government, RHU Lucban, and the Sigla Center exemplifies a community-driven approach to healthcare. This successful initiative showcases the power of working together to enhance the well-being of Lucban's youth.

"We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and expertise of our healthcare professionals, as well as the support of our community partners," said Vice Mayor Abcede. "The success of 'Hope Circumcised' is a testament to what we can achieve when we unite for a common cause."

The Local Government Unit of Lucban is dedicated to serving its constituents by prioritizing their health and well-being. Through programs like "PERATION: LIBRENG TULI," the LGU demonstrates its commitment to providing accessible healthcare services, promoting preventive health measures, and fostering a thriving community for all residents.
