LUCBAN, Quezon – The Local Government of Lucban, under the leadership of Mayor Agustin "Tenten" Villaverde and Vice Mayor Arnel "KAKA" Abcede, in partnership with the Sangguniang Bayan, RHU Lucban, and the Sigla Center, successfully implemented the OPERATION: LIBRENG TULI 2-day program.
This free circumcision initiative provided safe and accessible circumcision services to boys between 11 and 14 years old . The program aimed to promote health and hygiene among young boys in the community.
"OPERATION: LIBRENG TULI" provided safe and accessible circumcision services to numerous boys, addressing both medical and cultural needs within the town. The program was met with enthusiasm from parents and community members who recognized the importance of this preventive health measure.
"This program is about more than just a medical procedure," said Mayor Villaverde. "It's about investing in the health and well-being of our young people, empowering them with knowledge, and building a stronger, healthier Lucban. We couldn't have achieved this without the invaluable collaboration of our healthcare partners and the support of our community."
