GENERAL LUNA, Quezon – The Municipality of General Luna today, June 26, 2024, celebrated the inauguration of its new, state-of-the-art police station, a P10-million Type A building that stands as a testament to the town's commitment to safety and security.

The imposing structure, situated within the 600 sqm New Government Complex lot provided by the local government, is not only a symbol of progress but also a functional space designed to enhance police operations and community engagement. The "Town with Heart" is proud to be home to this modern facility, setting a new standard for municipal police stations in the region.



The inauguration and blessing ceremony was a momentous occasion, graced by the presence of Police Regional Office (PRO) CALABARZON Regional Director, PGen. Paul Kenneth Lucas, Quezon Police Provincial Office (PPO) Provincial Director, PCol. Ledon D. Monte, Vice Mayor Laica Batariano, and other local dignitaries. Religious blessings were led by Rev. Father Bong Zoleta, adding a spiritual dimension to the event.

General Luna Mayor Matt Florido, in his address, emphasized the significance of the new police station, stating, "This is not just a building; it is a beacon of hope and security for our community. It symbolizes our unwavering commitment to providing a safe and peaceful environment for all residents. The safety and security of General Luna is my top priority, and this new police station is a testament to our dedication to achieving that goal."

He also said that the new police station will enhance the capabilities of law enforcement in the area, ensuring a swift response to emergencies and effective crime prevention measures. Additionally, Mayor Florido expressed his gratitude to all those involved in making the project a reality, highlighting the collaborative effort that brought about its successful completion.

Vice Mayor Laica Batariano echoed the mayor's sentiments, stating, "This is a proud moment for General Luna. This new facility is a tangible representation of our dedication to the safety and well-being of our residents. It will empower our police force to serve our community even more effectively."
