CANDELARIA, Quezon - MPBL courtside reporter, Andrea Endicio, representing Candelaria, Quezon, brought more than just beauty at the recently concluded Miss World Philippines 2024. While not claiming the ultimate crown, the 24-year-old pharmacy graduate's journey to the Top 10 resonated with her inspiring message of empowerment through communication and public service.

Endicio embodies the well-rounded pageant contestant - possessing elegance, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude. However, her self-professed identity as an "exceptionally empowered woman" adds a deeper layer to her aspirations.

Beyond pageant glory, Endicio's focus lies on using her voice to create positive change. When asked about her pageant inspiration, she cites Catriona Gray, a former Miss World Philippines who excelled in communication.

"Catriona's exceptional communication skills are something I strive for," Endicio shared. "Effective communication is key for pageant contestants, and I believe it's a powerful tool for empowerment."

This desire to empower extends beyond the pageant world. Endicio's choice of figures to trade places with is unconventional yet insightful.

"As a courtside reporter," she revealed, "I'd love to walk a mile in Kobe Bryant's shoes. His legacy continues to inspire, and understanding his journey could teach valuable lessons in leadership and resilience."

Endicio's second choice is even more surprising. "I would also trade places with the Philippine President," she stated. "This would allow me to see the challenges our nation faces firsthand. With this knowledge, I could be a strong advocate for neglected areas and their needs."

Endicio's intelligence, communication skills, and genuine desire to serve her community positioned her as a compelling candidate at Miss World Philippines 2024. The coronation night showcased not just beauty, but also the potential for powerful voices.

"What a remarkable way to end our journey to make our mark in the WORLD." Endicio expressed her gratitude. "For a rookie in this field, I'm very fortunate and grateful to have reached the Top 10."

Endicio continued by extending her heartfelt thanks to the numerous individuals who supported her throughout the competition. The list included family, friends, mentors, pageant organizers, designers, makeup artists, hairstylists, sponsors, and her MPBL family.

Endicio's message exemplifies the spirit of the competition, highlighting the importance of community and the journey itself. While the article doesn't include the entire list of names, it emphasizes her appreciation for their collective effort.

In the remainder of her social media post, Endicio congratulated the crowned queens and expressed her message of unity and kindness. She emphasized the importance of all the contestants continuing to use their voices to empower others and make a positive impact on the world.

Endicio herself vowed to continue her advocacy for empowerment through effective communication and public service. She also thanked her supporters for their unwavering encouragement throughout the competition, stating that their belief in her abilities was a driving force behind her success.
