LUCENA CITY, Quezon - To further improve the efficiency of public services in Quezon Province, the local government acquired new service vehicles. These vehicles will be utilized to reach more remote areas and provide faster assistance to residents in need.

In an award ceremony held today, July 23, 2024, the Provincial Government of Quezon, led by Quezon Governor "Doktora Helen" Tan, distributed 15 brand new service vehicles to various departments. The acquisition of these new vehicles is part of the government's commitment to enhance accessibility and responsiveness in delivering public services.

The ceremony, attended by local dignitaries, including 1st District Board Member Gerry Talaga and Sampaloc Mayor Gelo Devanadera, highlighted the provincial government's commitment to improving public services. Lucban and Tayabas were among the first recipients, receiving vehicles specifically chosen to address their most pressing needs.

Governor Tan addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of these vehicles. "These service vehicles are not just mere possessions," she declared. "They represent a significant investment in the future of Quezon Province. With these new resources, we can deliver essential services like healthcare, public safety, and sanitation more efficiently and effectively, ultimately improving the lives of our constituents."

To ensure each department within Quezon Province can operate at peak efficiency, a strategic vehicle allocation plan has been devised. This plan prioritizes fulfilling the specific needs of each department. Public health will be significantly bolstered with the deployment of brand new ambulances, aiming to drastically improve emergency response times and patient transport.

Additionally, dedicated vehicles will be designated for medical personnel to reach remote communities and conduct vital health outreach programs. This will not only enhance the overall healthcare services provided to residents, but also contribute to the overall well-being of the community.

Public safety will also see a substantial boost. New patrol cars will be distributed to police departments, strengthening law enforcement presence and improving response times. Firefighters will be further equipped with new firetrucks or rescue vehicles, enhancing their capacity to protect the community.

The sanitation department will benefit from the addition of garbage trucks and waste collection vehicles, allowing for more efficient waste management and promoting cleaner, healthier environments across the province.

The infrastructure sector will also receive new trucks specifically designated for construction and maintenance projects. These vehicles will expedite road repairs, bridge improvements, and other critical developments throughout Quezon Province.

The awarding ceremony signifies a positive step forward for Quezon Province. The addition of these service vehicles, strategically allocated to address specific needs, will undoubtedly contribute to improved public service delivery across Lucban, Tayabas, and all areas of the province.

Tan further elaborated on the impact of the new vehicles, stating, "We are confident that these vehicles will make a real difference in the lives of our people. By improving our response times and service delivery capacity, we can create a safer, healthier, and more prosperous Quezon Province for all."

Tan also expressed her optimism for the future. "The awarding of these service vehicles is just the beginning. We are committed to continuously investing in our communities and ensuring that all residents of Quezon Province have access to the essential services they deserve."
