TIAONG, Quezon - To address the growing water demands of residents, the Tiaong Water District (TWD) has broken ground on an exploratory well project in Barangay Talisay. This initiative aims to enhance both water accessibility and quality for the community.
The TWD collaborated with the local government of Tiaong, led by Tioang Mayor Vincent Arjay Mea, to officially commence the project with a groundbreaking ceremony. This project seeks to discover a new water source to bolster and augment Tiaong's water supply.
The ceremony was graced by Mayor Mea, Sangguniang Bayan members headed by Vice Mayor Dick Umali, TWD representatives, and residents of Barangay Talisay and nearby barangays.
"This project exemplifies our dedication to securing long-term solutions for our town's water requirements," stated Mayor Mea. "We extend our gratitude to the Tiaong Water District's leadership for their unwavering commitment to improving the water security of our residents."
Mayor Mea expressed his hope that this project would be the cornerstone of many future collaborations between the local government and the water district, all aiming to benefit the people of Tiaong. He reiterated his appreciation for the TWD's leadership and their commitment to projects that directly improve the lives of Tiaong residents. He emphasized his desire to see more such initiatives implemented for the community's continued well-being.
The new Exploratory Well project is anticipated to significantly impact Tiaong residents' lives. By establishing a new water source, the project will ensure a more dependable and consistent water supply for households and businesses throughout the town.
This will not only elevate the overall quality of life for residents but also contribute to Tiaong's economic development.
