CANDELARIA, Quezon - The municipality of Candelaria recently concluded its momentous 145th founding anniversary, a vibrant celebration themed "Kultura ang umaakay, tradisyon ang bumubuhay sa bayang pinakamasaya, Candelaria!" Held from July 29th to August 2nd, the festivities paid homage to the town's rich history and cultural heritage while embracing progress and development.
The celebration commenced with a commemorative program that transported attendees back in time, showcasing the remarkable journey of Candelaria from its humble beginnings as a settlement in 1879 to the thriving municipality it is today.
