CANDELARIA, Quezon – Mayor George "Ogie" Suayan of Candelaria addressed constituents during a recent press conference, reaffirming his dedication to serving the community and continuing the work they started.

To silence some issues circulating in the community that the mayor did not disclose further, Mayor Suayan announced here that he would run for the next election in the upcoming year to ensure continuity in their projects and programs that benefit the people of Candelaria.

He emphasized the importance of stability and progress in the municipality, promising to prioritize the needs and welfare of the residents above all else: "I will not stop working hard to improve the lives of every Candelarian, and I am committed to upholding transparency and accountability in my leadership."

Mayor Suayan has also expressed gratitude for the support and trust given by the constituents, vowing to work even harder to fulfill their responsibilities as public servants. He said that his beginnings in public service have always been rooted in his desire to uplift the lives of the people in Candelaria, and he remains steadfast in his commitment to fulfilling that mission.

The mayor outlined their ongoing initiatives, focusing on infrastructure development, social services, and economic growth to improve the quality of life for all residents. Along with this, he vows to continue to work tirelessly alongside his team to ensure that the needs of the community are met and that progress is made in key areas.

"I am deeply honored to serve as your mayor," said Mayor Suayan. "I believe in the power of unity and the potential we have to create a brighter future for Candelaria. Together, we have achieved significant progress, and I am committed to building upon this foundation."

The mayor also addressed upcoming challenges, outlining strategies to address issues such as infrastructure development, public safety, and education. He expressed confidence in the town's resilience and ability to overcome obstacles through collective action.

"We face challenges ahead, but I am confident that we will emerge stronger than ever," the mayor continued. "Our community is built on a spirit of collaboration and determination. By working together, we can create a thriving, sustainable Candelaria for generations to come."

According to his wife, Mayora Maxima "Emma" Suayan, serving as mayor is not just a job for her husband, but a true calling to make a positive impact on the lives of their fellow citizens. She emphasized that Mayor Suayan's dedication and passion for the community are evident in every decision he makes.

She also said that as a wife who is also part of a community organization, she is proud to see her husband leading with integrity and compassion, setting a positive example for future generations. Mrs. Suayan believes that their shared commitment to service and dedication to the people of Candelaria will continue to drive progress and bring about positive change in the community.
