Five Quezon police stations welcome new chiefs of police in a turnover ceremony held at Camp BGen Guillermo Nakar in Lucena City, signaling a renewed commitment to public safety and order. (QPPO) |
LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Personnel of the Quezon Provincial Police Office (PPO) is now under new leadership in five key stations following an important Turnover of Office Ceremony held at the Quezon PPO Conference Room, Camp BGen Guillermo Nakar. This event signifies a renewed commitment to combating crime and maintaining peace and order within their respective jurisdictions.
Provincial Director, PCOL Ruben Lacuesta, presided over the ceremony, overseeing the transition of command for the Chiefs of Police of Tayabas City Police Station, Candelaria Municipal Police Station, Gumaca Municipal Police Station, Buenavista Municipal Police Station, and Jomalig Municipal Police Station.
PMAJ Marcelito P Platino, Chief of the Provincial Administrative and Records Management Division (PARMU), read the Relief and Designation Orders and facilitated the formal turnover of unit symbols, property, and equipment inventory books.
The ceremony witnessed the departure of outgoing Chiefs of Police: PLTCOL Caesar Ian C Binucal (Tayabas CCPS), PMAJ Fernando L Credo (Gumaca MPS), PMAJ Marlon C Comia (Buenavista MPS), and PCPT Jojo J Pangilinan (Jomalig MPS).
The incoming Chiefs of Police are: PLTCOL Elizabeth N Capistrano (Tayabas CCPS), PLTCOL Arnulfo M Selencio (Candelaria MPS), PMAJ Allan C Nidua (Gumaca MPS), PCPT Jojo J Pangilinan (Buenavista MPS), and PCPT Rodel L Abracia (Jomalig MPS).
The aim of this ceremony is to signify a renewed commitment to combating crime and maintaining peace and order within the respective jurisdictions of the five police stations, ensuring the safety and security of the communities they serve.
In his address, PD Lacuesta expressed unwavering confidence in the newly-installed Chiefs of Police, acknowledging the formidable challenges and heightened responsibilities that lie ahead. He emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts, assuring the officers of unwavering support and cooperation from both their respective stations and the community.
The Provincial Director also extended his sincere gratitude to the outgoing Chiefs of Police for their unwavering dedication, exemplary service, and unwavering commitment to upholding the law and serving the community with integrity.
