PAGBILAO, Quezon – Aspiring young entrepreneurs in Pagbilao, Quezon received valuable insights into product presentation and marketing during a recent seminar focused on product labeling and packaging, aiming to equip them with essential entrepreneurial skills and ultimately contribute to the growth of local businesses in the region.
The seminar, titled “Seminar on Product Labeling and Packaging: Guidelines and Requirements on Product Labeling and Hands-on Demonstration on Different Tools and Machineries,” was successfully conducted on April 8, 2025. The venue for this informative session was the OPA Conference Hall, situated in Sitio Fori, Brgy. Talipan, Pagbilao, Quezon.
The seminar, spearheaded by the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, specifically targeted selected Grade 12 students from the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) and Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) Strands of Talipan National High School. The primary goal of this educational initiative was to enhance the students' understanding of the critical aspects of proper product labeling and effective packaging, which are widely recognized as vital components for success in the realm of business and livelihood development.
During the course of the seminar, participants engaged in discussions covering essential guidelines for accurate and informative product labeling. Emphasis was also placed on the significance of strategic branding in creating a strong market presence and attracting consumers.
Complementing these theoretical sessions was a highly beneficial hands-on demonstration. This practical segment allowed the students to witness firsthand the operation of various machinery and tools commonly used in the packaging process, providing them with a tangible understanding of the steps involved in preparing products for distribution and sale.
