SSS brings essential services to Lucban residents at the Liwasang Rizal Service Caravan. (SSS Lucena Branch) |
LUCBAN, Quezon - Hundreds of residents were assisted by the Social Security System (SSS) through its e-Wheels program and Service Caravan on March 31, 2025, at Liwasang Rizal. The event provided Lucban residents with convenient access to a wide range of SSS services, embodying the organization's motto, "Masayang Tumulong, Serbisyo'ng Ramdam."
Residents availed themselves of a wide array of services, including the issuance of SS and ER numbers, account inquiries and verifications, and the Annual Confirmation of Pensioners (ACOP). The caravan also facilitated the distribution of various SSS forms and provided assistance with member data change requests.
A key highlight of the event was the promotion of SSS's online services, accessible through platforms like My.SSS. Representatives guided residents through processes such as registration, account resetting, PRN generation, loan applications, disbursement account enrollment, and benefit claims. The SSS also showcased its e-Wheels program, a mobile service designed to extend its reach to remote areas, ensuring that all members, regardless of location, can easily access essential services.
The e-Wheels program, in particular, emphasizes the SSS's dedication to accessibility and efficiency. By bringing services directly to communities, the program empowers members to manage their social security needs more effectively. The information provided during the caravan encouraged residents to utilize this mobile initiative as a viable alternative to traditional office visits.
The Social Security System (SSS)-Lucena Branch also conducted an SSS E-Wheels program at the Conference Hall of the Alabat Municipal Building. With the e-Wheels program set to visit other towns in Quezon province, the SSS is poised to further enhance accessibility and streamline social security management for those living far from town centers.
